Season Ends at the NJMP Halloween Bash with a pole, a win, a 2nd place finish, and me winning 2 championships

The NASA Northeast season ended at New Jersey Motorsports Park’s Thunderbolt Raceway Halloween weekend.  I went into the weekend as the Super Unlimited class points leader and the overall drivers points leader, but we had to perform well in both races to take home the drivers championship.

Thunder at The Glen: 1 Win, and 1 Second

NASA Northeast hosted the annual Thunder at The Glen at Watkins Glen International October 2-4.  The first day was a practice day with qualifying and racing on Saturday and Sunday.  The weather wasn’t very corporative, with alot of rain Friday late morning thru Saturday morning and a mostly damp, cold track with little grip.

Pocono North: 2 Wins, 1 pole, and 1 track record

NASA Northeast held its second race weekend of the season at Pocono Raceway’s North Course September 5-6. The weather was ideal all weekend with temperatures in the 70s, blue skies, and sunny. The race group was smaller than normal due to the Labor Day holiday weekend, so there was only 1 race group.
